Hiring people to make phone calls for you?

Hi guys,

Do any of you hire people to call businesses? Doing stuff like scheduling appointments, see if they are interested in your services, getting decision maker's contact info, etc.

If so, where do you find them?
How much do you pay them?
What do you make them do?

Thanks.

The Search function will help you out. This question has been asked many times.

Good appointment setters are hard to find. The ones who do a good job are probably already employed in well-paid roles. Elance would be a good start. At least there, you can see reviews. Lots of people will talk a good game but when it comes time to call do absolutely nothing.

You had better have at least a $10/hr budget; finding someone for commission only is really difficult.

Have them call, qualify and arrange an appointment for those who qualify In to talk to you as the expert.

Sounds good on paper; rarely ever works out for the independent without years of in-the-trenches phone experience.
