How to charge clients and find high value clients

I am just starting up offline but I have created a website.

but how can I take recurring payments easily, even when (hopefully) closing deals on the phone.

I was thinking of using paypal but I heard that your account could get banned if high priced transactions go through it. also I am from England so I can't use certain payment methods.

also, how can I find high value clients? not find them but know what types of businesses can afford high priced marketing. because often even doctors and dentisits don't want to spend $1000+ per month for me to sort out their PPC campaigns even though it may make them more money.

so which businesses should I go after?

also, I will be starting with cold calling and cold emailing (telling them how they can improve their website) to get clients.

Check out braintree payments integrated alongside Freshbooks. Freshbooks is free up to 3 clients and braintree has no monthly fees and the same fees as paypal at 2.9% + .30 per transaction. Not bad for a credit card processor that can integrate with freshbooks and do recurring automatic payments.

P.S. it's what I currently use in my business.

Gonna check this out right now. Looks interesting, since I can't use PayPal to process any credit card payments (location restriction, uhhh).

      Cheers!

    Hi there,

We can also vouch for Braintree - we've been using it for some time now with no problems.

    All the best,

    Sasha.

Try Pinnacle cart and then maybe SagePay for the payment system, SagePay allows you to setup recurring payments and also has PayPal built in, you can also take payments over the phone.

Don't just restrict your marketing to Dentists or one certain industry try all types of markets as there is so much competition out there now days, if you can prove to people you will get results then they will stump up the cash.

You also have to gain some trust in these clients so going in for the BIG payout straight away is not always the best route, trying improving something they already have or something they don't have, even if the first payment is small this will lead to more trust and eventually bigger projects and payments from each client.
