Awesome Android power dialer

I don't have a land line, so I make calls from my Android smartphone. VoIP has not been kind to me, so I looked high and low for an app that would make the process quicker. It was surprisingly annoying to find one that worked and wouldn't clutter up my phone contacts.

Then I found MobilCTI Ultimate Sales Dialer. It lets you import lists of contacts using a CSV file and stores them in a separate database. You can set it so it automatically dials the next number after the last call, or manually initiate a call with one button press. When you're done with the call, you can add call notes, reschedule the call, add them to the DNC list. If you get a return call, it will check the database and show their information on the caller ID. Once you're done, you can export the results to a CSV and import them into your CRM. About the only thing this doesn't do is predictive dialing.

This app + unlimited minute plan = super fast and easy calls with no long distance charges. It also works on VoIP apps that use SIP like Goove IP and SIPDroid. I can make an average of 50 calls an hour, which is a lot considering I'm dealing with a lot of voice menu systems.

I'm not an affiliate, nor have I had any contact with the developer. It's just that good I wanted to share. For $5.99 it's a steal! There's also a $3.99 version that doesn't show the info on incoming calls. It's one time, no subscription fees. Why this guy isn't charging 10 times more, I'll never know.

Nice share I think this just saved me a few hours from dialing numbers manually. I agree this app should cost a lot more, better get it while it is cheap.

Cool. They also have a free version if you want to try the basic operation. You can upgrade in app from there if you want.

I don't have an iPhone so I'm not sure what's available. I've heard several CRM companies have released iPhone apps. Maybe one of them has sales dialing functionality?

I know there's a version of Power Dialer for BlackBerry and Windows Phone, but not sure about the iPhone. You might ask the guy if he plans on releasing an iPhone version. His web site is Automated (Power) Dialer application for Android

Just wanted to add something here...

I emailed the developer yesterday with a couple of suggestions about the screen you get after a call. Before you could only dial a predefined alternate number or move directly to the next call. I wanted functions to redial the same number immediately and update the contact with a new number and dial it right away. Very useful for those calls where you get lost in voice menus and have to hang up and call right back, or you get someone that says, "Oh, you need to talk to the owner. Call him on his cell at ###-###-####."

They updated the app with the requested features today and emailed me back when they uploaded the new version. How's that for service?

Same places you get them for other types of marketing. Business databases (accessible through my local library), sites like Manta and Jigsaw, trade show exhibitor lists, etc.

Sounds very interesting. Where is the CSV file located? How do you upload a CSV file from your phone?

Do you upload to a server then have the app access those numbers for dialing?
