Any of you fellow members have any experience outsourcing customer service (email only for us) and website maintenance?

I would appreciate some feedback - do's & dont's, cost, etc.

    Yeah i have. When it comes to cost a $4-5 an hour is ideal if you need quality service from them. Do always communicate with them but don't put pressure too much on them, monitor their work, and don't expect too much.

  • If you're thinking of looking for CSRs in the Philippines, look for those with call center experience. Most of them (not all) get training in email customer service.

    And when you outsource, employee monitoring is extremely important. You can use paid time tracking software like timedoctor, rescuetime or tracklabor or plain ol' Google docs to keep track of their work.
