Craigslist Auto-Flagging when Posting?

Wow, this is a first. But then again, I'm not a big user of CL.

I literally posted an ad, and then went to my email for the confirmation. When I clicked on the link that said the ad was live, the page said the ad had been flagged for removal!

I realize ads can be flagged, but that was literally within 2 seconds of posting the ad.

Has this happened to anyone else?

It happened to me three times when I was posting an ad for a free activity I was putting on before I figured it out. In my case, they just didn't like or allow the link to a .com site.

BTW, each time I reposted with a variation, they considered it a duplicate post.

It normally takes a few minutes before the ad actually goes live. So my guess is you are doing something in your post that violates some written or unwritten guidelines.

There's a new insta-flag filter which happens automatically when you post. It seems to be linked to the IP of the account. Once the acct is hit with it, the acct is toast.

What IP are you guys using to post....

      home ISP, proxies, what?...

If the acct is hit with it, can you make a new acct?
