New company-where to put my paper?

So I've got my new eco website suavocado.com and I'd like to advertise some with traditional methods ( flyers, cards etc) since my target demo is stay at home moms, but I've no idea where to put these flyers if I printed them or where to send any cards I make etc. Anyone have any experience they're willing to share?

      Hi Sasha,
Thank you for your quick reply, I'm not sure if people do that in Houston. Someone suggested I look for a club or organization that caters my market, now I'm having a heck of a time finding those organizations.

Leuk om hier een neederlander te zien trouwens.

The grocery store is the one place 99% of moms have in common, they have to feed their children. Thus, placing flyers in them is a great idea. Stores like Whole Foods have community bulletin boards. Some other good places are--
Public Library -- they take the kids for storytime
      Dog Parks
      Yoga Studios
      Dance Schools
      Music Schools
      Martial Arts Studios
Just try to think of the things parents enroll their kids in, places they take the kids.

In the SF Bay Area, there is a local newspaper called the Parents Press, you may look them up at parentspress.com. It may be a good place to take out and ad, either in print or online. You might also contact them to see if they belong to any professional newspaper associations that cater to parents and children. You may be able to get a national list of them. I know there are other parents newspapers, just can't think of the names right now. A list of these will give you a great place to start.

Keep in mind summer is coming, many Kid's Fairs take place, you may be able to figure out a way to use them to your benefit. A booth perhaps?

Flyers to the door will work for stay at home moms. For a prior b2c business I found someone to deliver them for a nickle a piece. Hard to beat that roi. You'll probably have to pay more than that so just make sure the flyers actually get delivered.

Make a list of all the places stay home moms go.
Make a list of all the things they read.
Make a list of things they look for online.

Then, start putting your message in front of them.
Grocery stores, drop-in daycare, local gyms, playgrounds, dog parks, schools, shopping malls, kids activities businesses, swimming pools, clothing stores, home...the list goes on and on.

It doesn't sound very 'eco friendly' if you're printing thousands of flyers and putting them all over the place in grocery stores, local gyms, playgrounds, schools, etc.

How about getting in touch with some 'mommy bloggers' in your area and connecting with them?
