    A weekend, on the morning.

I've done webinars for attorneys on T, R, F. So far, T and F have both worked very well.
      10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EDT

and let them know they can get the recording by registersing.

You d'better don't tell them about recording. We need them online. I put a special note saying that "there'll be no recording of the class".
BUT I also put a small info-gift with instant access after registration. For example a "10 cents per client" video (something general about PPC).
My SQ pages show 55-67% ratio (from a cold email list). And almost 60% of registered users come alive.

Dmitrius - this looks like great advice.
Could you say a little more about this - My SQ pages show 55-67% ratio (from a cold email list)

And this - And almost 60% of registered users come alive.

I had 5 of 13 registrants show up live for my last webinar. Is that what you're talking about when you say "users come alive"?

Here is the page I use to "squeeze" the visitor's emails. It is in Russian but I think you'll get general idea of it: http://liga-t.ru/udvoenie-prodazh/SQ/index.html

Yes, 5 of 13 show up alive that's what I mean. But I prefer to invite them by "hundreds" (I sell group trainings not personal consulting and I have some guys to make skype-sessions). So in my case it's 75 of 130.

I'm not so sure I agree with this. Professionals are extremely busy in general and I think you should at the minimum give them a window of time to attend the webinar.

You might let them know that the webinar recording will be up for 48 hours so they can fit it in their schedule. But like everything, best to test.

Sure, it depends on the niche. Sometimes it's better to say nothing about recording at all. But anyway, "no recording" or "recording available" (F 10 a.m or Th 7 p.m.) is not the biggest thing making your subscribers come on live and buy. "Technical tricks" just make a small difference.
The main thing it is always "trust, value, great offer".

    good info. thanks

I am putting together a plan for promoting a local webinar for a nice. and the way i plan to do this was an ethical bribe.. by offering a $300 value Mobile website for thier site which they can claim at the end.

was not going to reveal what it was until the end

Good idea. But how you gonna say it on your LP? Something like "I'll give you a free gift of 300$ value" maybe too suspicious from their point of view.
I would make this way: You'll get +30% leads on your site by doing almost nothing
On the webinar we explain that every 3rd web-user is surfing using a mobile device. So they just need to make mobile versionof their ste to get those 30% (I'm not sure about statistics so please don't take it litterally).
Than we sell them the mobile site for some small money and then we upsell them to "per month" service - SEO or hosting or smth else.
But your strategy will surely work if you make a proper copywriting.
      Thanx!
