    This is great.

If this guy was a wolf in the wild, he would be the one that always catches the buffalo, while all his friends starve to death.

Every pack needs a pack leader. Its either that, or the whole pack starves to death.

      all closers are NOT salesmen.

Most closers are just that ... closers.

But they cant sell shit with out some one setting them up.

Real sales people ... don't need closers.

Just my two cents, I don't like videos like this ... because its so
easy for the new people to get the wrong idea.

one more thing... if everyone does all the work, and you
just get on and close the deals its easy to look like God.
its also easy to get an over inflated ego.

I see it all the time.

BTW, if he was a wolf in the wild. He would have been my lunch
and then i would have sold Claude his pelt.

I see people exactly like him every day. Not impressive. Not at all
as a matter of fact, those types are usually the first to be fired.

        You're kidding right?

I get it, you don't like the guy.

But don't sit here and try to tell me that closing isn't important. Otherwise you just sound ignorant.

"Real salespeople" CAN CLOSE. If you can't close, you don't get the contract, you don't get the money. So please, for your own sake, just stop.

I agree with Kannigan, he's using his celeb status as leverage to close. But so what? He's still CLOSING. The fact you people would use that against him, makes absolutely no sense to me. A "real salesman" leverages anything possible to make a sale. And do you folks think he got to where he is just by closing people? He knows how to sell. The guy had his own reality show on NatGeo. Where is your show?

I know, you don't want one. Thats not a measure of success for you. NatGeo doesn't know shit about business.

Nor do all the companies around the world who use his information based sales approach. Please tell me what YOU pioneered that companies all around the world are using?

As far as "having his lunch". I just hear, "I'm insecure". We get it, you saw a 16 minute youtube video of the guy, and now you think you're god because you noticed a few mistakes. The end result? He still closed the deals.

Nobody cares that you would fire him.

Easy to say that when you'd never have a chance to hire him in the first place.

Say what red? ... boy you took that all out of context.

Who said sales people cant close? ... I said the opposite.

Real sales people DON'T need closers ... They do it them selves.
because they are the close'rs ... as well as actually being a sales person.

... and who said i did not like the guy? I said i run across his type every day.
And in the real world they bring so many problems ... so much baggage
and are so ****ign full of them selves they HURT the company they are with.

ease up. I did not piss in your wheaties.

I stand by what I said. ALL CLOSERS are NOT sales people.

Well this was posted a couple weeks ago.

This would never work for regular salespeople: he capitalizes on his minor celebrity status to close the deals. The prospects are delighted to be talking to him. They also know he can make a deal.

So while this is entertaining, I would not recommend people take this on as their expectations.

Sorry, I just sensed you were attacking the guy and didn't want to see the thread turn into that.

And the wolf analogy.. had more to do with me putting my dog down a few days ago, rather than this video. I know it sounds stupid. But she was a fearless fighter, and I thought of her when watching this. Being full of yourself does have its disadvantages, but its still an admirable quality in certain respects.

I'm just trying to stay positive and notice good things in people.

    Thanks - Red

All is cool. I read your posts, you have my respect. I have watched you grow over the last year or so.
Both with your writing and your salesmanship. It is impossible to NOT respect that.

btw, I never attack ... unless some one attacks me or mine.
If you ever see a post of mine doing that ... its not me ... report it.

      Same here.

It has been 15 years since i lost my best friend "Hugo" a Norwegian elk hound.
I have been told over and over to get a replacement. I have never been able
to bring myself to do that. I feel your pain.

I love dogs. My only competitor in town had a black lab that was named Annie. I would stop in every week or so, and that dog showed me more affection than any human could. I was actually hurt when I saw her give a complete stranger the same reception.

The UPS guy told me that she had to be put down. A combination of age and cancer. I stopped by, and two big grown men (my competitor and me) spent 30 minutes trying not to cry.

This was a realll interesting video. Thanks for sharing.

The intensity and call control was amazing.

Even though he did leverage his status, yes and he knew the second lot of people he still had to run the gauntlet and overcome their objections. The line asking if they'd prefer to nickel and dime him or get unlimited support was the winning move in the video, I liked how he negotiated it around HIS requirements as well, solid.

If I were on the receiving line I'd also say "OK fax the contract over" like the prospect did in the video. Just to get rid of Cardone.

Just like the prospect did in the video.

Grant Cardone is the man. His "10x Solution" is something that EVERY business owner should digest.

The book is a little boring, but the audio version (him reading and teaching) is simply amazing. If you don't know how to get things moving in a business...that will do it.
