Have an objection to this?

If you have a business that is making good growth,
have had recent relationship changes, and have some insurance cover...

would you be open to the idea of having an insurance broker to see if you are paying too much for your cover and if it's adequate for your new circumstances?

Working on a lead generation project for a insurance broker
and am looking for objections and insights.

I have case studies of business owners saving on premiums without lowering cover, and in some cases increased cover for the lower premium on death and disability.

Objections, insights and input greatly appreciated.

Best,
Ewen

    HI Ewen,

We have an insurance company as one of our clients and the owner is a great guy. We sent out a letter to all our current clients endorsing him offering something like you stated above - basically, no obligation review of your policies, if we find a saving, maybe you'll go with him. Letter was pretty basic - just an endorsement of him.

He got a few clients out of it - we never discussed the actual numbers. Our clients think we walk on water, so any endorsement would probably have had the same results.

I think if you're going to a cold list you'd need to offer some sort of premium as a grabber and since insurance is not my deal I can't think of one off the top of my head. I can ask my insurance client if you like.

    All the best,

    Sasha.

Sasha, I'd be grateful for you asking your client for the type of "gift"
      used, if at all.

      Best,
      Ewen

Since I own a service biz and also know many other service biz owners I can say this - we ALL complain about what we pay for insurance! I would think that if you get this into the hands of the right person and it seemed like an easy thing to have done (we are also busy as hell and usually don't lots of time) I can't see too many people saying no.
EDIT: One issue would be that many are pretty loyal after using an agent for many years. Might be best to go with newer businesses?

The two big objections that come to my minds are...

    1. Time - I am busy and don't have time to waste. I think showing how easy this is would be great. That is the reason gieco says 15 mins.

    2. They like their current agent - Not sure if this one could be over come.

Yeah, the only way people will be interested in an insurance audit is if there is a big fat gift attached. Sorry, but that's from experience.

What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?

Well you're talking about people who, when it comes to protecting their most important assets such as the roof over their head to shelter their family, provide comfort, safety and warmth; their wheels essential to getting around... are motivated to buy by animated lizards.

misterme.....I've met a few of those animated lizards.

Perry Marshall used to tell a great story about how Yahoo were coming to present to a major company many years ago (when Yahoo had something to offer) He waited to see how the magic would be turned on at the meeting by The Yahoo guys..........however.........they were animated lizards punting something that nobody else had that did a job nobody else could do.

Animated Lizards need to be loved too !

Making Calls To Sell Something? What are you actually saying?
Is there any room for improvement? Want to find out?

      Thanks guys.

As I suspected, time is an objection.

It's going to be like balancing scales,
showing the reward while taking away the hassle.

      Best,
      Ewen
