Hey guys,

I've been doing a few web and design jobs for my clients and one of my upsells has been been setting up simple media kits for them. Mainly because they may use printers, video services, or need to get ads and bios out to other outlets (news, tv, radio, newspapers). Here's what I do. I create a folder on their site and in that folder I put a PDF of their bio, contact info, logo and photos. I also put the same material in text files, jpeg, eps logos, illustrator logos and any other formats they need. A few have commercials that they run so we put that file there or have a link to a dropbox so they can just send them the download link.

The point is that it makes it easier for them and they can just send out one link and not have to deal with gathering files up to go out to different media sources. I usually charge between $50 to $100 bucks to set this up for them depending on how detailed it is. I've done it for 4 clients now. It's a great upsell when you finish their website. Just thought I'd share and give back. If you use this idea and make a bit of extra change, come back and let me know.
