How Do You Reach More Offline Businesses?

Any tips please?

I have a website related product, and want to reach as many restaurants in the USA per day as I can by email, without having to endlessly trawl directories etc.

Any advice on quickest way to achieve this please?

Hire someone from India for $2 per hour and have him/her collect the emails from restaurant search on google. The more personable the email is, the higher the chances of a response.

    - radio
    - tv
    - magazines
    - network marketing/word of mouth
    - events/previews/seminars
    - JV with people who have lists/networks
    - local forums (every country has one of these)
    - Hire cheap labor (lol) like interns and part timers.

Find the gurus marketing/consultants in this industry. See if they will JV with you on your product or allow you to guest post or add an article to their newsletter.

Find other non-competing products for this industry and do the same thing as above.

infoUSA and infofree both lists with email addresses for businesses, just pull lists for restaurants. Another way is to buy a scraper Mobile Renegade and GPScraper are both excellent, you can scrape for restaurants with email addresses.

Look for restaurant organizations like the National Restaurant
      Association.

If you create high quality content they may be happy to share
your articles and/or reports with their members (ideally this content
should lead readers to the conclusion that they should be buying
your product but remember you want it to be high quality content
      not a sales pitch).

You may also pay to advertise in their newsletters or on their
      websites.

You could also consider doing a joint venture with an organization
where they promote your product and you give them a percentage
      of every sale.

Finally some organizations have events where they have speakers.

If you're delivering high quality content you may be able to speak at
      these events.

Position yourself well enough and they may actually pay you to speak.

      Kindest regards,

        Andrew,

Your idea of being paid to speak is a great idea. We've been doing that exact same thing for years. I believe Claude Whitacre is also a paid speaker. I bet he could develop that idea.

You can go to the better bureau website and it will lists a great amount and you can also use the electronic version of the yellow pages and you can also use the local chamber of commerce.

(I'm not condoning this..but there are electronic ways to get this data using automatic programs from the website in question)

Another good place to look is a business that has restaurants as customers or sellers. Example a local organic farmer may have a great list of restaurants that he supplues
