Google Local Question

Hey I just made a google local page for my dads business. I verified it, but its not showing up yet. How long does it usually take to start showing under search results after you verify it?

Any "broad" time frame would be helpful just so i know nothing is wrong. Thank you

    If there is more than 8 related businesses in the area it wont necessarily display as there is a ranking algorithm to determine which business pages display in the search results.

    If you click the map can you find the local business listing?

    You talking about Google+ Page or Google places listing. If it is Google+ Page it will take a month also depending upon how active you are on Google+ page. Share unique posts on it and ask people people to +1 your page also.

      im talking about google local. His business only has like 2 competitors on the pages so he should show up on the first site. Im not talking abour ranking, im just talking about it showing up right away.

      So in other words, does it take a while for google to make it show up or does it show up right after verification?

    You need to treat it like any other SEO, think keywords, what do you want to rank for? does your onpage SEO show that?
