This happened recently on a live paid consultation.

I noted my clients Skype id
and asked how that came about
because I was really curious.

Well that turned into a long conversation about a project which is close to his heart and was frustrated because it had stalled.

Because I knew a bit about the business model he was planning to use,
I suggested a few tweaks and gave him a resource to
set him up.

At the end of the call he wanted me to be part of this project.

Now I bring this up to demonstrate in having a genuine curiosity and interest in things which your clients and prospects are doing.

From this they are magnetically drawn to this high energy.

Another example of this in action.

A 2 person partnership wanted to get a lower fee for my stated fee.

I pointed out that doing so created a downer on my enthusiasm which I openly shared for their project.

Left it overnight for both parties to "sleep on it".

Meantime I captured some brilliance in a bottle
and sent it over.

I get a "wow" and "where do I send the money?" message.

It would be a good self test to gauge your own level of curiosity and passion for your clients business and projects.

Best,
Ewen
