Aweber - poor customer servie, am I the only one?

I realize the guy who owns aweber has already made a mint so anything said here won't take away from his fortune. However, it will be put into the universe and maybe crash his system and he'll have to use said fortune to repair his system.

We had the unfortunate opportunity to talk with an Aweber CSR this morning. I am being kind when I call this person a CSR btw.

It seems our Aweber account isn't sending the information on the submit form to the email account set up to receive the information. This wonderful minimum wage clerk could not tell us where it was sent only that there exists a confirmation it was sent.

She didn't know if it bounced back or was stuck in an aweber perpetual limbo loop or if God blocked it by hand so it wouldn't go out but look like it went out. He can do miracles you know. She also didn't know if anybody else at the thing called aweber could answer our questions. She only knew the email went out or at least she was positive it went out.

I realize when you are as big as google, yahoo, aweber, and a host of other so called service providers you can insulate yourself behind minimum wage front line workers and the customer can go to hell. After all, you still get to charge their credit card or they can use getresponse or some other equally non-responsive, non-customer service oriented service.

I am ranting because it feels good and would like to know if anyone else manages to receive service from this service provider. I really do like the idea of people being employed even if they are minimally skilled and can't think past their headset as it lowers my welfare responsibility tax.

Oh yeah, we also had to deal with yahoo this morning. Since this is only about aweber, I won't tell you about the low skilled, mental midget we encountered at yahoo.

That's it, just wanna know if anybody gets anything resembling acceptable service from aweber and how you managed to do that. If you are related to the owner, please don't respond.

Thank you,

Tom

      Jim,

I appreciate your answer. I will be speaking with my partner tomorrow and we will certainly give it consideration. I'll email him the link to this thread so he can read it for himself before hand.

I am not sure if this really the case as Aweber has its own good will, anyway we cannot even say anything. But there are many auto responder services Like GetResponse and many others why don't you try.

But I do believe that Aweber is much cheaper than GetResponse and others..?

The poor support is what made me switch to GetResponse and so far, I've had nothing but excellent service. Plus, until you hit around 5000 subscribers, it's quite a bit cheaper. Around that point, it becomes comparable, which is a great benefit to those just getting started with list building.
