How would you set up recurrnig credit card payments online for clients

I know there are a lot of shopping carts that let you take credit card recurring payments for products.

I know there are a lot of paid shopping cart options but they are usually designed for online stores, I'm looking for a free or cheap simple method that will make it easy to for clients to sign up to make recurring credit card payments. I have several merchant accounts like authorize.net

Any suggestions?

Thanks RMX

If you already have merchant accounts, why not contact them about setting up recurrent payments. You can also use Paypal, e-Junkie, etc.

The 'SEARCH' feature here on the WarriorForum should produce many answers for you, but you have to use it.

Go to Staples and buy a software program called "CheckSoft" ($50)

On your Sales Order Forms put the following words at the bottom, "Customer agrees that $______ will be debited from your bank account on the 1st of every month!"

What I've done is collect a One-Time Set Up Fee at time of order and tell my customers that their bank account will be "dinged" on the 1st of each month.

They give me a check for the SetUp, I enter the info on the check into the software program and, every month I open the software, click on "Print Check", stamp "For Deposit Only" on the back ad deposit just as if I was handed the check.

Simple and....I don't have to have an "intermediary" between ME My Money. It's just ME and my customers!

thanks I've used that for large amounts. It's fun going to the bank with $500 checks that you print yourself. :-) But in this case it's for small amounts and hopefully large numbers of clients so it's not practical to do this for a hundred $20-30 checks

You can just make a paypal subscription button and put it on your site. It automatically takes money from your customers account every month.

Thanks I guess I should have made this more clear. I don't want to use Paypal for this.

Does your bank not have any issues with the fact that the cheque isn't signed?

You are right, if you want advice you should be more explicit. Paypal happens to be one of the low cost solutions, you failed to mention you didn't want to use Paypal. Your bad, not mine.

E-junkie at $5.00 per month is inexpensive. There are no free solutions. These processors are in business to make money. If you need the service, you'll pay for it.

This subject has been written on many times, so use the 'Search' feature and you will find your answers, payment processors in the US and abroad.

oops I have an old account I haven't used in quite a while and when I used a different browser and I logged in on it.

To answer the other question, it's legal (at least in the US) to deposit preauthorized bank drafts without the signature of the customer

      Thanks for your post.

Yes I know they are there to make money. Was hoping to use one of my merchant accounts. Was looking for a free or low cost way to integrate with them since I don't need a full blown shopping cart. Maybe I'll look at E-Junkie or another solution.

Check out wepay.com. They have recurring payments, an app (like Square), auto invoicing and NO monthly fee.

    Awesome customer support, too.
