Does anyone forward local numbers to their mobile phone?

I want to forward 4-5 different local numbers for various cities to my mobile phone, I was thinking of using a service like Vumber or flynumber but I have a few questions:

1) If someone from the local area calls that number and is forwarded to me (in a different city/state) do I have to pay long distance charges from my cell phone carrier?

I know a lot of these places state .03 per minute but I don't know if those are the only charges or if that's in addition to the charges for my mobile phone carrier.

2) What service do you recommend? I've order magic jack for the 30 day trial but I will most likely send it back as it will use the data on my phone to connect the calls.

I wont be able to forward this to a landline or google voice, only a mobile phone. My main concern is I'll be paying a ton in long distance fees for numbers that are forwarded to my mobile phone.

I would look at it like this.

I would love to pay thousands of dollars in long distance fees per month, that means my game plan is working like a charm.

Same with taxes on income, I would love to write the IRS a check for a million dollars at the end of every year for taxes.

Can't let the small details limit your thinking.

I have one number forwarded that has cost me a whole $13.00 give or take in long distance fees, while bringing in $6200.00 in sales.

Another one costs me 5 cents per minute for calls that I have forwarded to a client for $18.00 each. That one has produced more than $1800.00 in sales, and might have cost me $40.00 in the process.

    Hi there,

Then you should abandon the plan entirely. This is like saying, I want a job, but I'm scared I'll pay too much per gallon in petrol to get there.

    All the best,

    Sasha.
