Needs Help: Franchise Opportunity Leads

Hello warriors!

I'm admittedly still a novice in internet marketing, but have had a few successes and am currently trying to help my dad find qualified "franchise opportunity" leads for a franchise that he represents.

The franchise is in the Home Care market and this has had me stumped. I've got the keywords so tightly refined by group and yet still no conversions. To top it off Google is now giving me trouble essentially saying that I can't use them for lead generation. Frustrating.......

Anyways, I'm on my last leg here and thought I'd come to the good people of the warrior forum to see if anyone has ideas they wouldn't mind sharing on alternative traffic sources to google which might be good for getting franchise leads.

Anything at all could be helpful. Thanks!

    Hi there,

Have you tried running an ad in Entrepreneur magazine over there in America? It's loaded with franchise opportunities and would be a good fit for your offer.

    All the best,

    Sasha.

Sasha has a great idea. I would take it a step further.

Buy a list of people currently employed in the medical field who are also subscribed to Entrepreneur Magazine then begin marketing directly to them.

I checked out the site, seems like interesting concept but I kept trying to clean my screen and then realized it was in the background texture of the website.

Kind of an unsanitary, white measles feel to it, which is not too good, especially in this field.

Have you tried to rank organically for your keywords?

    -Create a facebook fanpage

-Get involved by interacting with people and groups in your niche (facebook groups are filled with highly targeted leads... and its free to join -- the more groups - the better)

-feed your fans with great content in the niche (tips, tricks, reports, stats, etc...)

-run an facebook add & paid posts

-Do the same with twitter if you have the time

It should happen naturally and the results could be unbelievable

    good luck

Maybe you should be on these horizontal directories. They won't be extremely targeted traffic but if someone is browsing the site then they're looking for a franchise to buy into.
      Google franchisedirect.

    And also very important...
If you could create a free report on -- for example: "10 Secrets You Should Know to Be Successful in Home Care Business" or something along those lines, and offer it for free in exchange for your targets email address etc...

Thank you all for the great suggestions!

I've been trying to get Adwords to work for it, but click costs are insanely high in this category and there are too many window shoppers who appear more like they're looking for the services or employment rather than owning the business. Negative keywords seem to cut back overall traffic to a trickle and then I still get no conversions.

I like the free ebook idea, but of course Google doesn't allow that. They're already giving me problems simply for asking for any information at all just as a contact form.
Google Adwords has worked well for me in other categories, but certainly not this one.

Design feedback on the page itself is much appreciated, but I'm thinking that the area I need the most help on is copy and conversion tactics.

I've been using Unbounce, but I'm going to attempt the ebook style lander with optimizepress and see if I can't get some seo going.

Everyone's feedback has been greatly appreciated!

Try Sunbelt Business brokers - they are a national company. They have interested buyers list, folks looking for business opportunities. They do charge a fee but they advertise, and have their web-sites for browsing opportunities.
