Any did any marketing for a Health company before?

I need some tips and suggestions for marketing a health company. I recently purchased a domain name and designed a health website for a friend/business partner and will need to do some marketing. I'm about to find some health directories but would like to know if there are any effective moves you made...

Here's my website WavePainCare.com

Thanks!

    Here's what I see.

1st. The copy on your site needs to be completely redone. I'm not attempting to be harsh but I don't see you getting any conversions with what you have.

2nd. Get affiliates to sell it for you. I don't know what margins you have but that's one road.

Get a list of Chiropractors and Physical Therapists and sell to them to use on their patients.

I agree with Enfusia and Digichik. I would take the "What if pain could go away quickly?" section and move it down. Then put the quote from the top right next to it. Move the video to the left and make it larger. Then to the right of the video put a large opt-in form. You could put the "FDA Approved" in the top right corner to fill the space and highlight that. I think that format would increase conversions which should be a top priority to capitalize on your marketing.

It looks like a product that people need a lot of education on before they will decide to buy.

Article marketing could work well for this. Set up some review sites as a funnel. PPC could be effective with buying keywords as well.

CShilling just gave you $1000+ worth of marketing information. In other words, that is what you would have had to pay to get the info he just gave you for free. Now add in the marketing idea Enfusia gave you and you just hit the jackpot!!!

If you are smart enough to use it...

The copy for your website does need to be re-worked. You are wrong you do need conversions.

Whether you realize it or not, many of the Physical Therapist and Chiropractors will want to go to your website for information, before buying from you. There isn't much there. Also, they in turn, may refer people who will go to you website for more information only to be disappointed.

Conversions = turning website visitors into prospects.

Do the work now so that you can collect money later.

You are going to have to do it, so you may as well do it now.

I could definitely see the difference and I'm creating an ebook for the list using AdobeX. I'll use photoshop to create the ebook cover then write about 14 pages of material today.

I'm not going to comment on the site because I think it is fine. To me, this is the type of product that needs to be SOLD. That means time on the phone and face to face.

You have a compelling video. If you were my client I would:
    1) Build you a list of every clinic in your area who could use the device.
    2) Get one of my callers to dial all of them, setting appointments for a demo.
    3) When the appointment is set, email them a link, ask them to watch the video before your appointment.
    4) If the appointment is not set, ask them if you can just email them some more info - send the link to the video. Call them back in a week.
    5) Have a sales rep go to the appointments. In between appointments, have them visiting the clinics where an appointment could not be set. Sometimes just walking in is the way to go.

    On top of that:
    1) Gather a copy of every local paper - see if it has a health section. Begin advertising.
    2) Make a list of every health food store, sports nutrition - or any other possible channel partner you can think of. Hold in-store events demonstrating the product.

    Then:
Hire more sales people and use the same process to tackle other cities.
