Yellow Pages APP - digging out from near death?
In Canada (not sure about other countries) the Yellow Pages directory has gone the way of the APP and after downloading it, I was rather impressed with the ease of use and diverse lists of businesses. It also integrates with FaceBook and FourSquare.

Obviously, they have been diverting their efforts to more digital marketing services over the past few years, but this APP, seems to me may be cause for concern to independents.
For example, I found a few of my clients in their listings without a listed website, images and videos. I tried to add a website URL, and had to submit an email address, which I suspect will result in a sales call. It does seem that any business that advertises in the Yellow Pages gets premium listings in the APP that includes all sorts of media and reviews.
Something to think about anyway.
