Domain Names

I would not use register.com 99cent deal if you just plan to forward the URl's as they charge a big upsell for that. After I found that out, I didn't even want to know what else they charged for to actually use the domain. I became a member of Godaddy's domain club membership for less than $70 I think and get everything for about $8 now

That's exactly what I wanted to know. Most of the coupons out there are good for one domain, and I'll be buying a bunch of them in the next few weeks.

I stopped using GoDaddy a few years ago. Switched to NameCheap instead. They've currently got domains at $3.98/yr with free privacy.

I've got around 30 domains with them ... no downside that I can see.

So, right after my last post, I saw an ad in my inbox for domains at namecheap for $0.98 ... not bad ...

Don't know if that's just for one or what the terms are, but it's worth a look.

I checked the site, and it pretty clearly states only one domain per account at that price. Too bad, that's a pretty good price.

It seems like a couple of weeks ago, I bought a handful of domains at Godaddy for 2.49 each. But not available now.
