Need Idea's for Snow Cone Shack

I need some ideas for a name for a snow cone shack.

Here's what I have so far:
Cool Cone's
Nice Ice

lol, that's it so far.

Any ideas? It is a new business trying to develop its identity. No logo or anything yet.

Spend some time - make a list of anything and everything that comes to mind.

Once you get that list, check to see if the domain, Facebook, etc. is available.

Once you have that list, check to make sure none of them are trademarked or that a business is already operating under the same name in the area as yours.

Don't want to spend money on logo's, etc. when you might not even be able to use them.

    Good luck

Exactly like what I was thinking.
Except that I was adding the biz owner's name, as in, "Nicky's Snow Cone Shack" for example.

And the reason why I believe this is better than a clever name is because you want people to know without a doubt what the business is about at first glance. Names like "Colorful Tasties" and "Snowball Heaven" are vague. But there's no wondering what "Snow Cone Shack" is all about. Puts the picture right into your brain.

And adding the owner's name brands it as that person's snow cone shack not to be confused with any other. Make it "Nicky's Original Snow Cone Shack" and now people think you're the front runner, have been in business since 1910 and every one else copies off of you.

  • Offer a mix of traditional and experimental flavors. Some people want to try anything other than mainstream flavors. It is part of their identity.

Experiment with different locations (if you are mobile), like the end of jogging trails.

Make sure you have upsells, like extra shots of syrup.

Name snow cones after local teams and celebs.

Think about parallel products like lemonade. Don't add too many side products too soon!

Consider offering samples of "secret" flavors off the menu to regulars. Tell them not to tell anyone, it is only for regulars. You can bet they will tell many people, all the while telling them it is a secret and not to tell anyone. Here's how they do it in California at In-N-Out Burgers, a wildly popular chain (just don't tell anyone about this):
