How come most businsess have google places?
Im not from the US, Im from a country in latin america.
I tought most businesses in here wouldnt have their google places listing uploaded.
But most mid sized business already have their listings online. A basic listing consisting of phone, name and addresss. Nonetheless they have a listing.
Im sure they didnt do it themselves or their marketing team, because i know the owners of a couple of this business.
So did Google employees actually took time to upload data for most local businesses?
*Ill share one example with you: the family of one of my friends owns a a company dedicated to replacing broken windshields.I talk to my friend regularly about marketing and he doesnt have a website or social media presence, and he is unaware of google places, yet he has a listing.
