Anyone tried to sell VIP swipe cards?

Hi Warriors

So the idea is that the swipe card will store the customer info, and is used to get discounts, reservation, access etc.


Any experience selling similar services?

    No experience - but it might be a nice depending on a couple things:

    1) How much you're getting paid for the service (obvious one, I know)
    2) How much is it going to cost to set this up? You've got to think about software, production of cards, etc.

    If I were you I would target retail places in which their competition has cards of this type - you can use that as proof that it's a valuable resource for whatever niche/industry. Also, it's sometimes a nice pain point when an owner's direct competition has a feature that they lack. Use it to your advantage when selling to them!

    Also, this may be a given, but....

    RESIDUAL, RESIDUAL, RESIDUAL!!

    Charge servicing fee's, monthly fee's for upkeep of the software, etc.

    This is also a nice service to get your foot in the door with a business owner. You can obviously upsell a multitude of marketing methods once you've established a healthy and solid relationship with a DM.
