What is a good database for organizing sales leads?

Hey guys, I am looking to buy a database software program for my telemarketers where they can save leads with company info, revenue, etc. I know excel is good but I'm looking for a software program that could possibly be operated from a server so each sales rep can log in and update their leads, etc.

Any ideas?

    Hai,

    I suggest that you set up a small website with forms and reporting feature to get this task done. You can get the job done with a an appx. $10 initial and a recurring appx.$5-6 for the hosting space.

    The advantage is that you can have full control of the site. You can modify if when you wish and create custom reports too.

    What I use for me and my sales team is Nutshell. I've used salesforce, vtiger, zoho, highrise, and nutshell is perfect for our needs. I love it. Easy to use, not a big learning curve like others and i love the analytics and reporting options it provides.

      I need something for selling training products, business products (websites, sms, direct mail campaigns) and other consulting services to local businesses. Do you think nutshell would do the job for me?

    Our team uses a very modified version of vtiger.

    Does everything we need it to do, just make sure you have a server fast enough because CRMs handle a lot of requests even if you have just a small team.

    Our crm interfaces with the predictive dialler so the calls are logged automatically.

      2nd on vTiger (actually 3rd...since Iam mentioned it too). That's what we use.
