What is a good and cheap VOIP service I can call prospects with?

Ok, so I found out Nettalk doesn't like lots of calls from my home phone...

My mobile phone doesn't have enough minutes, so MobileCTI is out...

So I was going to try skype, but I hear they have limits too.

So what phone service can I use that is cheap and will let me call hundreds of prospects a week?

Thanks,
Mark

    Google Voice.

However, your mobile phone does not enough minutes? What is this, 2005 or something. Heck for < $50 you can get unlimited data, text and phone from many service providers.

      I'll look into Google Voice.

Yes, I'm old school... I have a cheap cell phone plan, I intend on getting a better one with a better company when my current contract expires.

      Thanks,

I'm looking for opinions on something similar and found this thread while searching for it. I'm thinking of giving up our long time landline connection as we hardly ever use it anymore. But then I think a better option would be to just take a voip phone service which allows me to keep the number and use it when necessary at a lower cost. So what I'd like to know is whether I should choose a service like magicJacks or g3's[ http://www.g3telecom.com/calling-features.aspx ] and just use it with my router or just get a bundled phone with a new net conn like with TekSavvy. The thing with the first is that, I might require conversion to dry loop before being able to use one of those. While my use of the phone will not be very frequent, I do expect to be making international calls with it. Any advice on which would be a more convenient and economic option?

Skype is only $2.99 a month and for that you can call 100 different numbers a day.

Multiple accounts will let you call more, of course.

Thanks for the replies guys. Skype offers many conveniences no doubt, not the least of which is not having to have any special hardware set up. But as I'm looking to maintain my number, it won't suit my purpose.

That's why I suggested Skype + CallFire. You can send any number to the caller ID. You can connect with CallFire directly from Skype, then CallFire sends the dials from your personal phone number. While this is happening, your actual phone is free for incoming calls.
