Is this one of those cars, that has your business/logo/site painted on it? If so, the more the car driver drives around, the more your message will be seen. Conversion wise, I don't know how good or bad, these types of ads are...good luck!

    Hi there,

You want vehicles that are always on the move, which are tough to find. One of our clients used to offer to pay 1/2 the driver's car payment if they placed advertising magnets on the sides of their car, and the full payment if they let the car be fully wrapped. I don't know what their response rate was but I do know they got sued when that car got into an accident. I don't know if they won or lost that particular case.

    All the best,

    Sasha.

When I'm thinking of ways to market my products or services... I always try to think of the ideal places where my prospects hang out and where they'll find me.

And when I think about it, I can't ever think of a time in the last 30 years where I bought anything from seeing a decal or sticker on the back of a truck or car.

I mean, not too many people will even remember what the name of the company is/was when they see it.

After they've seen it... it's more out of sight, out of mind.

Again, you have to think like your prospects... and will a potential prospect call or order after seeing a sticker?

Who knows. I always laugh when I see those 42 letter/number website addresses on the back of a truck... selling Scentsy or some other product.

Yeah, like someone will see a web address with 42 symbols, remember it, and check it out.

    Please.

But this may work for local service contractors, plumbers, landscapers, etc.... who knows.

If it was me, I'd buy a domain name that is ONLY for this type of advertising, and use that domain name on the ad sticker.

This way, you can track and see how much action you get from that sticker/domain... but even so, it's still a bit tricky to track unless you ask.

I'd much rather stick to advertising sources where the prospects are looking for me, and that i can track a lot easier.

I'm constantly looking at the ads on cars and noticing they don't have websites. My intention is to always call and try to sell them some web services but I can never find a pen while I'm driving to write any info down (phone number / company name). By the time I get home I have no idea what the companies are called.

Perhaps that's bad business on my end.

Yes! If you have an eye catching car ad it does work, especially in a local market. When a customer is looking for what you have to offer your ad will be the one they remember and your business will be the one they call on first. The more interesting and memorable the ad the better. Many successful companies pay people about $300-$400 to wrap their vehicles in their ads. If this did not work, I don't think that would be the case!
