Burned Again For Google Places Optimization, Need Help

So I have tried again to find a Google Places optimization provider, with mediocre to bad results.

I have tried the 'oDesk hire' route and the 'hire obscure company' route, both which ended pretty badly.

Obviously I'm pretty pissed and just want someone who can get my clients on page 1 for their keywords, no more messing around and for a reasonable price.

Anyone know anyone that will 'handle it all' for a reasonable fee?

Honestly, if this fails one more time, I will just end up biting the bullet and running adwords campaigns and charge for that. I just figured Google Places would be the most effective way to get leads for clients, but its just too much of a hassle getting them page 1 (between long waits and unreliable providers).

Any recommendations?

PS. To anyone who PM's me that 'they can do it', I require at least 3-4 examples of clients you have ranked for local keywords, with reports and timeframes on doing so. If you simply provide citations and animoto videos, I don't want to hear from you, I want guarentee's.
