Can I Add Subscribers This Way?

Hi all, I have a question about collecting email addresses of my clients. I was going to do this -> send a video with a form that will appear a few seconds later. This is for a sample mobile website. I can set up the form to send emails to my aweber account or to my personal email. My question is is it ethical or quite alright for me to add them to aweber when they are requesting for their sample mobile site? Please advise.

    Hi there,

What is ethical is whether or not you tell them what you are doing, and they get the option to decide whether to provide their email based on what you state you will do.

If you have to ask if something is ethical, it's probably not.

    All the best,

    Sasha.

I would definitely let them know somehow that you're adding them to your list. You might even want to double opt-in in this case.

Thanks for your replies. What I mean to say is when is the right time to add them to my list? At the first contact where I ask them for their details if they want a sample mobile site? Or at the purchasing stage where I ask them for their details after they make a purchase? The latter is what I see most WSOs do. I mean the 1st way is a freebie list. The second way is a buyers list. But when is the right time?
