Predatory Opportunistic [OFFLINE] Product Creators Buyers Beware

Have you blindly bought some products because of fancy graphics and big promises from some WSO or from anywhere else without thinking through the potential ramifications to not only your own business but that of your clients?

The reason I'm writing this post is to hopefully get people to actually think through some of the methods being promoted and what could possibly happen to their clients.

Keep in mind that everything you do, every service you provide can either have a positive effect on your clients business or a negative effect.

You're duty to your client is to ALWAYS act in their best interests and to always act in good faith towards them.

With this said, this is why I'm saying that "BEFORE" you snap up the next shiny WSO think it through. Examine it to see if the method passes the good faith towards your client test.

In the end it's you're reputation on the line.

Now what do I mean by predatory opportunistic Vendors?

For example: We all know recently that Google changes from places to Local + for businesses (2012). Within hours of the change a whole slew of new WSO products were released about these changes and how to rank. All the vendors of course positioned themselves as the expert but if you think critically about this, how can one already be an expert on the subject matter when the changes they are creating products about are less then a week old? Yet you, well maybe not you in particular fall for it and buy it.

So take time to think more critically. Ask yourself what ramifications does this have for my business and my client.
If I use this product or method could it harm my client somehow?
Is the product a loophole or shortcut method?
What happens if the loophole closes?
What happens if the shortcut no longer works?

So, I'm not the only one who thought they couldn't possibly have become experts in 2 days?

These are awesome questions to ask yourself before you dive in. For clarity purposes, I'd split the last 2 into:
What happens to my client if the loophole closes/short cut stops working?
What happens to me (my business) if my clients' loopholes/shortcuts I implemented stop working?

    How

I dislike almost all WSOs... I do however like software, or things that aren't dependent on someone's theory.

You have to remember, that people putting out WSOs are putting them out for profit. That is the goal. That is THEIR business and it has nothing to do with what happens in YOUR business.
