How to get to the guts as to why your sales message isn't working

You've found a "problem" you can solve and let them know you can help...

You've swiped other peoples ads, letters, phone scripts...

Frustration sets in.

Go to somebody else's method to get better responses...
still deaf ears.

Arrgg!

Now !%#*#$^ what?!

Time to take a deep breath and step back for a moment.

It's time to go back with the mindset of a start up and even before that.

At the very beginning bright eyed entrepreneurs are ok to get failures.

What they are after is quick validation there is a market
where people are prepared and do pay for what you offer.

At this point they keep things super simple and try oodles of variations of what different problems that a person has high priority to fix has.

Problems may be low priority.

And you aren't after moving them up their priority scale.

Stick with what is already high priority.

And you have better keep it super simple to understand what you are talking about.

People today are so overwhelmed with to do work. The last thing they need is some idiot proposing something that will create more work,
even if it is in the decision making process.

So keep refining your message that hits their priority work
and make your solution seem like no work to understand and implement.

    Hey Ewen! After 30+ yrs of doing "I got an Idea and I wonder IF it will grab any attention from the "niche" I'm interested in.....type of thingee;

    What I've done is; GO....put together my best attempt and see....if I get any bites!

    Then....because I've mostly been a Direct sales guy (Face-To-Face)....I found I can find EXACTLY HOW TO put my program together to sell it, by contacting THREE potential clients!

    I never needed "dozens" or....when I was using Direct Mail, I never needed the 5,000 "tests". I did the minimal of 200 mail-outs! When the results came in from my "200 Mail-Out"....I could determine whether to go forward with a 5,000 mailiout or.....do another Test of 200!

    So....the "gurus" were wrong, in my experience! I did NOT need to make HUNDREDS or THOUSANDS of contacts! Just THREE phone calls or personal visits told me....how I was to arrange my Presentation to "get the most Sales!
