Did anyone here attend the Frank Kern webinar yesterday on offline consulting? I'm curious about any feedback.

Yes, its a replay of the same webinar he's doing regularly every 1-2 months. If you want to see it again, you can go to youtube, search on Frank Kern Consulting, and its the first result that comes back. Its just under 1.5 hours long.

I can vouch for the legit techniques that he discusses in the 'webinar'. They're tried and true, and have been used for years. So that can be a good learning experience.

THe only issues I have with the guy's presentation, is that he'll start down a list of four points he wants to discuss. He'll get to point three and then jump to a list of seven points he wants to make, and then complete the first five of those.

Its basically a huge sales presentation for a consulting gig that he wants you to send him $2600 x 3 payments.

So there's some good info in the presentation, its just that for every nugget of gold, you've got to move 3 tons of dirt.

  • Thanks for that. I had not seen any of his consulting stuff and thought this was a new one.

I watched it too Talltom is spot on.

Seems like Frank is pushing the consulting thing pretty hard. I do not see any newbies going anywhere with this stuff though.

I saw the webinar replay on YouTube.

It wasn't anything special for me, but others might find it useful.

I am glad someone shared the webinar. Not for the value of the info but for the value of watching how he presents.

Guys; I'm about an hour into it.

You can use this webinar as a template to sell local online services. Maybe 95-98% can be directly translated to sell any kind of service on a webinar.

Kern is either a brilliant creator of sales presentations, or hired a master copywriter to produce this.

He gives some useful information...but it's more to give the feeling of "I can really do this". He's selling the idea of consulting as a business.

And he talks in a way that keeps your attention. Good stuff.

I'm taking notes. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

That's Kern using the serial cliffhanger method to keep people listening. It's the interweaving of different plots, so to speak, never finishing one so to keep people on the hook. It's "and then as the plane started to spiral out of control, what happened next was amazing. But that reminds me, meanwhile back at the ranch there was about to be the biggest trouble they ever had..."

He's known as a copy writer. I'll bet he wrote it himself only because he uses a lot of the things he teaches in his other programs. Such as...

Establishing something as factual by prefacing it with statements like, "The fact of the matter is..."

And citing authority stats to back up his statement.

Showing how it's possible for you and me to do what he's doing, which is his strategy of "positive expectancy" where you show how anyone can do this so that the prospect says to himself "hey maybe I won't make a million dollars a year, but even if I can just do one tenth of that..."

          Thanks for the insights.

I'm watching it for the second time today, pulling out the transitional points, sales appeals...stuff like that. I'm going to redo it as a webinar to sell my online services.

It would actually be easier to convert it to selling "How to sell online services" training. The webinar could even be part of the package. But for now, I'll use it to build a presentation to sell services direct to clients.

I have an on stage presentation that works well now, but I think this will work better as a webinar. It's at least worth a test.

You make a powerpoint presentation and then in powerpoint, if you have camtasia, you can record the presentation through powerpoint and finish up the video settings in camtasia.

I've done it for a couple of things. Simple enough.

You might want to look at Frank Kern and Kevin Nations "One Man Millions" which is the entire strategy they used to do these types of webinars, including how they sold the coaching sessions after the webinars and how they worked the resulting coaching sessions. Hint: it wasn't one on one coaching.

If Kern's still working this way, then it probably works well.

Misterme; Do you mean the product? Do you mean the webinar?
Frank Kern & Kevin Nations - One Man Millions » Download free movies soft, games, crack etc.

If it's a program, what is involved? (manuals, DVDs, swipe files...etc)

I appreciate the heads up on this.

If you have the program, would you want to sell it?

The "One Man Millions" program is 8 weeks of training calls and 8 Q&A calls.

It was a "wildly" successful system but for some reason Frank moved away from it. I think he still uses parts of the system with his own programs.

I think working with Kevin Nations has been the catalyst for Frank moving into "high end' coaching and consulting. Fran mentioned in hi Consulting Class, that when he met Kevin he was shocked at how little he (Kevin) was working to net $2million a year, which was pretty much what Frank was making, but Frank was working a hell of a lot harder to earn that $2million.

I think we all need the wake up call of others to see we are working harder and for less than we should be.

You get real moments of clarity when someone your respect shows you how much more they make or how much less they work than you.

Anthony Robbins has a story along the lines that he was proud that he finally bought an expensive house, and then went to some big name's house whose rare front door was worth as much as his house.

My friend Julius Toth (The Edenpure heater guy) invited me to his home one evening for dinner. My wife and I showed up, were invited in...and I was looking around thinking that my living room was actually bigger than his (I have a very nice hone).

I said "Julius, I like your living room"

He said "It's the foyer. The living room is through here"

I swear, you could land an airplane in his living room. I started laughing, and told him what I was thinking when I first walked in. We both laughed.

I said "Julius, I'm truly impressed"
He said "Claude, that was my intent".

Funny stuff. Back in the day I dated a girl who worked in TV production in NYC. After one of the tapings, she had to pick up something from the house of one of the producers. It was a brownstone just off Central Park.

We walked down the hall to the kitchen; the walls of the hallway were decorated with a series of paintings. As they talked about work, I walked slower behind, looking closer at the signatures. Picasso, Rembrant, Chagall, Cole, Church...

In my front hall we had pictures of camping trips.

I've always enjoyed Frank's material and the fact he does exactly what he says NOT to do (ie pushy scarcity tactics or goofy "my printer found 29 more copies!!!) but does it in a way that is entertaining and educational.

Aside from his sales process, the biggest take you can get from it is that he greatly increased his prices by finding customers who can afford those prices. He no longer goes after biz op people peddling $14 ebooks.

He goes after people where a 10% increase in business can mean tens / hundreds of thousands of dollars in extra revenue.

I do believe MOST people can replicate his consulting model, but not in the IM niche. Claude, for example, would do very well by marketing his "make money by presenting to groups" angle.

Can't remember exactly why. Apparently he and Kevin Nations were doing
around $300,000 and $400,000 a month from this, so I would assume you
would need a real good reason to ditch it.
They had a difference of opinion going forward I believe.

Frank was shown this model by Kevin Nations, he has a product called "Big Ticket Blueprint" apparently this is the model that Frank has modeled and tweaked. I've not been through the training so I can't say for sure.
"One Man Millions" was based on Nation's "Big Ticket Blueprint." "Big Ticket Blueprint" is most of "One Man Millions", and Kern added in some internet marketing stuff to it that Nations wasn't doing. Kern stuff, like giving "Results In Advance" But what he's doing now is basically the One Man Millions for himself.

The 8 weeks of training calls, Q&As, webinars and pdfs that the webinar to teach you how to do this group coaching stuff promises to deliver for your $12,000. I think I also have the sales letter that pitched the webinar.

      Agreed!!

I would go even farther to say that the sales process in it of itself.. is much more valuable than the content or product!!

think about how much time do you go thru the sales process and watch all the videos, and read all the pdf, and get the emails..

then buy the product only to have it sit in the hard drive

the recent product was video genesis

I have archived the whole process and all the emails and such.. this alone was worth waaaaaay more than the video course on how to make good video

how to make good video you can find this in alot of places..

      but the sales process

      now that is the secret.

the one consistent thing we know of all these guys.. Kern, pagan, filsaime, etc is that they do intensive strategy testing..

Yup, I watched it and liked it.

He teaches a non-IM selling model that I've been using for years and was taught two decades ago in college as an operations management guy for process improvement projects. (Betcha most of you don't know about my other skillset!)

The rub is it's a sales pitch for a $9,000 coaching program.

Funny thing I noticed, on the heels of Video Genesis, he's offering his own $97 video training program. That struck me as odd. "Me, too?" Or "Hey, there's a market...they'll buy because either 3 x $97 for VG was too expensive, or they bought VG and don't want to miss out any Kern-isms." Opinions?

I'm not sure of a tutorial, but you can create each slide with a similar width line.
Then have each slide wipe in the direction of the line.

So if the line comes in from the left then changes direction toward the top of the page, the next slide would be designed to have the line coming up from the bottom at the same location, then you would animate the slide to wipe from bottom.

If this doesn't make sense shoot me a PM?

Yeah I saw some basics on that and was hoping for an easier way. What I saw matches up with what you said. It is something I could learn to do but seems very very time consuming. Just have to believe a guy like Kern has an easier way that I was hopeful someone here knew and could link me to.

I signed up for his "Consulting Class" a couple of months back.

I've switched 2 of my own clients over to this consulting model, and I've brought
in 3 clients cold, from direct mail.

It costs me on average £200 to get someone on a "free" strategy session, I've been closing one in three to paying clients, so it cost me £600 to bring a new done-4-you client on board.

My current fee's are £2250 p/m, so it's proving very profitable.

My aim is 12 clients which should not be a problem. I also plan on raising my fee's to £3000 p/m.

I work in one specific niche (area exclusive) so it should be easy to leverage the success of previous clients using "stacked case studies".

All my campaigns and marketing materials are licensed, so I own the rights to all the IP I create for them. Make my job easier as I only need to create the material once. This should also help with attrition as long as I'm able to prove a positive ROI on a monthly basis, which is relatively easy to do with tracking and analytics.

Frank moved away from the "One Man Millions" approach.

Can't remember exactly why. Apparently he and Kevin Nations were doing
around $300,000 and $400,000 a month from this, so I would assume you
would need a real good reason to ditch it.

He does still use a similar approach that he's tweaked. He has a program called
High Paid Advisor which teaches the new model.

Not sure he still does this himself, as he's almost exclusively working with consulting clients, and teaching his consulting model.

Frank was shown this model by Kevin Nations, he has a product called "Big Ticket Blueprint" apparently this is the model that Frank has modeled and tweaked. I've not been through the training so I can't say for sure.

Wow, that's some useful information there. I just discovered that I have "High Paid Adviser". Very excited to give it a thorough testing.

The more I'm reading here, the more excited I'm getting about this high end model. Thanks again.

I live in San Diego and met Frank a few times. I loved the webinar and got some great takeaways. I feel its for the more advanced Internet Marketer/Consultant. Kinda like one of the those dating sites....they can teach you how to meet the "hot girl" but you still gotta be able to back it up once you get past the initial lead/sale. IMO.....
