Howdy....there are many WSOs here selling "How To Create Promo Videos for businesses"....I know, I've bought most of them AND....I'm curious;

You create a Promo video for a business. (These are 30sec to 120 sec videos)....

You "sell" them on paying for your Promo Video.

You then Brand it with your customer's Logo & contact info.

Then....HOW do you get the Video TO your customer? (Your customer already has a website) ...so they can place it ON their website to promote their business.

Do you....burn a CD or DVD?

Do you.....email them a Link to your video's YouTube URL?

Do you....email them the "Embed Code" so they can place it on their site?

I'm curious about HOW you are getting the "finished product" TO the buyers of your Videos..and....WHAT are your video buyers doing with the video/s you sold them!

NOTE: This has nothing to do with;....Ranking Videos or placing videos on websites you created. This is only about HOW are you getting the videos you've created ....into your buyer's hands and...what are they doing with them?

Thank you,
Don Alm

    Don, you have the avi file (or mp4 or whatever format) which is the original video file, right? Create an account on dropbox.com - it's free -and you do things then like upload it to there (you can even drag and drop it) and then simply email them the link to it. They then can download it. They don't need to create an account or even fuss with settings or passwords. All they have to do is click. It's that fast, simple and convenient.

    This is the current state of things: using the "cloud" to host, share and collaborate files. And if you use my link above, you and I both get 500MB of extra storage space in addition to what they normally give. (This goes for anybody using that link to create a free account on dropbox.)

    I can answer from the other side. The video company that makes our TV ads emails over small files or uploads them to a file sharing site for me to download. I then upload them various places.

    I would suggest for most warriors to handle all the steps as few businesses have an in house web marketing guy like me. So do it for them and charge accordingly.

    Setting up some type of download site/area is usually the best option. As a secondary option, there is burning to DVD which has an extra cost associated if the client requests a hard copy.

    Normally I would set the download link to expire after X amount of days, then the video files are archived to a secondary(cheaper for me) file storage area for future project purposes. There is a charge if the clients needs to download the files again at a later date as I am not their free personal video storage company.

    You can also charge a fee to house the videos on Amazon S3 so that the client can embed the videos where ever they need, directly from that link.
