What are some of your favorite free services/products you can give to clients that have a high perceived value to them but are quick and easy to setup/provide for them.

They can be used as a door opener, bonus, etc.

Here are 2:

Google Alerts
monitor their brand/name/business/competition/reputation in search engine

Google Voice
Free tracking phone number, additional phone number, etc.

I usually go with Free online marketing help.

Then set up a meeting where they discuss their business plus I have a consulting questionnaire we go over.

Afterwards I create a video sales pitch going over the services they need and how much I would charge to handle it for them.

Seems to convert at 25% of people asking for online help.

Some people will try to do it themselves then after coming up short try to hire someone to do it for them.

I love that idea but the funny part is that you have to get a business attention to be heard (or seen if you do a video).

How do you get them interested into your tips?

I try email but they get so many it doesn't work.

I offer an in depth video review about their business, competitors and potential.

    Hi there,

To the OP - are your suggestions pedantic, or is it just me?

    All the best,

Maybe I'm not getting your details right in my head. Aren't these service your clients can use without you?

Of course Rick but most business owners don't know about them. I wouldn't charge for them but it can be a nice door opener or and extra bonus for something else you might charge for. Most business owners are too busy running their business to know about everything that is available to them. So you if you can help them they appreciate it.
