Hey guys & gals,

what do you use to manage your clients workflow. Setting tasks for clients, writing notes for what has been done etc.

I need something before things get out of hand.

I have tried dozens of applications....finally settled on Wrike. It is simple so the clients can easily use it. And, it is easy to control user access to certain folders. No one sees a folder you create unless you share it with them.

Super simple to email files into a task. You can reply to posted updates just by replying to the email notification.

Too much to list here...but is is very easy and clean.

Of course before you start working with your clients you should have a work plan and schedule activities so it becomes easy for you to manage your time.

  • Maverick8,

I have been a fan of agile project management for some time now. The basic idea is that you can break up large tasks into smaller more manageable chunks. Its also much easier to manage people with it. I have seen everyone from book printers to software companies utilize its principles.

I think the key to managing multiple projects is in the process you use, not necessarily the tools.
The goal is to finish a project as quickly as possible, so focusing on one project at a time is important. If you are waiting for client input or other resources then work on a different project.

There are a few best practices I like to follow that help me to finish projects and get my products launched efficiently. Systems help, but it's the process that is key.

I use trello, very easy to use from our side, I wouldn't show it to a client though, if you need to give client acces I'd go with wrike.

It's good that you have chosen Wrike. I would have recommended it as well.

    Hi,

I use time management software to manage my clients works flow. Cloud-based software can be the best choice other than normal application, where you can get different tasks done, very easily, even while you are on the road. I would recommend to try Replicon's software to set tasks for clients and track the time spent on projects.

This time tracking software is a one-stop solution for all your time management needs. It has more capabilities to perform three or more tasks including time tracking, invoicing, and making payments, etc.

Find more details about this application on this link - ( http://www.replicon.com/time-tracking-softwares.aspx )
