Marketplace Fairness Tax
I would like to get feedback from members on Nexus and the Marketplace Fairness Tax. Do you know what it is and if not you may want to research it as it affects all us marketers. There is a concerted effort in many local legislative bodies to tax Internet revenue. You need to be informed and in touch with those who you wish to support either pro or con. Unfortunately many marketers know nothing about the way that legislative bodies are trying to tax the monies earned on the Internet.
If you earn money through affiliate relationships with manufacturers or suppliers you may be dropped from their program due to taxation on the Vendor or you may be held responsible to taxes from sales made through your affiliate links.
I encourage those of you who are concerned with more legislative restrictions on your business investigate and get involved.
