Does anyone have any links to a free hairdressers wp theme, I know abot theme forest and the rest, was just after a standard theme to do mock ups to punt to hairdressers in selected towns for the keyword "hairdressersintown/city"

    Not quite a wp for hairdressers theme but I use theron lite for any hair and beauty sites. I also recommend you tell clients about salon lite its a free booking system.

    no probs m8.....are you using a clone plugin like wptwin for your mock ups or are you doing a site from scratch for just the one industry?

      I was going to do a site from scratch, then use that same template for each town/city, I was more interested in getting the site ranked for the keyword, then going round the hairdressers offering the first one to take it the site exclusively for them.

      How would you promote salon lite to the customer, would you give them the link straight out, or in your sales pitch would you mention you had something free for them

        Give it away straight off the bat before you go in to your sales pitch. Explain how it benefits them and its absolutely free to them.. Not only will they be grateful but they will see you as a hero and treat you as human being rather than a someone trying to flog them something........it's called playing it forward.

        I remember a couple of years ago a knife salesman in Sainsbury's supermarket got people to listen to his sales pitch because he was offering a little freebie gift that costs pennies to give away. If he had told them about the freebie near the end of the pitch I don't think he would of made many sales.
