The bad guy and saying no

Yesterday an "almost client" stopped short of hitting
the Paypal button.

He emailed back and said split it in 2 and will pay last on completion.

So replied back using social proof and reason why it's 100% up front.

A day later no reply.

What to do next?

Bring in the higher authority,
or bad guy, and add the power of
asking not to buy.

What?

Asking not to buy?

Yep!

The line was...

Say "no" if it won't work for you.

For some reason people have a real problem saying the word no to others.

And the thing is, it's not over if he said no because then we can still negotiate from that point.

Before I brought up the subject of asking for no,
I said my accountant says I must get 100% up front.

So now this brings another element of power of the higher authority
saying so.

Result: said he would make the payment.

I am no where near hostage rescue level, but have freed quite a few Benjamin's using the old accountant said so method.
