Good video on why non-monetary motivation is so important to results. I do think it overly simplifies the issues. But so does the old “carrot” and “stick”.
I think a big key is how to combine the two ideas, the monetary reward with the non-monetary, to maximize performance with little or no need for classic management. This video doesn’t touch on that point which IMO would be the next logical step. Instead it merely shows that non-monetary matters a lot more than economists and business people believe.
