How to Get Prospects To Respond to Cold Emails
If you are trying to market your offline services by
sending cold emails and not having any luck here's
what works for me ...
Make your Initial Email very short and ambiguous
For example
If you are targeting Realtors
Don't Say
"Hi my name is Jack and I specialize in websites for
Realtors and I can get you on the front page of google
blah blah blah"
you will be lucky if 1% respond
Instead simply say
"Hi are you still doing Real Estate?"35 - 50% will respond and they will usually
have their phone number and contact info in their
sig file
you see they don't know who you are. You could be
someone who wants to buy real estate
when they respond hit them back with another very
short email
"Hey thanks for responding. Sorry to bother you. I workSome will drop off but a good percentage will say
with a lot of realtors to help them increase their business
May I send you a short email with information?'
"Sure send info"
Sending info in bite size pieces after an initial short
ambiguous email will ALWAYS outperform sending
everything up front.
at least that's how it has worked for me
When they respond to your initial email they are almost
obligated to respond to your next email because anything
else would be rude
I've done this with Realtors, Ive done it with Restaurants,
I've done it with Contractors, etc etc. and it works every tine
If I am targeting a specific niche I will set up a series of
canned responses in Gmail to move the prospect through
the process until they say "Not Interested" or stop responding
Try it .. it works
