a licked stamp is going to push the odds of
your envelope opened.

Problem becomes if you want to scale it up.

    And if you want to make that open rate soar even higher make the direct mail piece look like an invitation. Of course, it helps if the letter inside makes reference to an invitation of some kind.

      Yes I also get clients to use invitation style envelopes.
