Getting Accurate Leads?

I'm basically asking people to submit contact info to search houses on my site, and that alone isn't easy to do. Is there anyway to get these guys to submit accurate info? Also get more people to want to submit info and search houses?

Guess it has to do with a bit of copywriting, but any easy tips/techniques?

Yes, go to the copywriting forum and try to get a better understanding on pulling people to pull their info to you. Copywriting is a difficult skill to master, but a worthwhile skill that is worth learning.

If you are trying to get leads, people need to feel compelled to type in their info. Focus on traffic later on, fix up the writing first.

    Here are my thoughts.

    1. Is there a reason they would want to search houses on your site vs all the others that won't make them log in?

I think you are putting the "pay gate" in the wrong place. You are forcing people to leave. I you didn't force them to submit the info and asked later you would get more people and likely more leads. Maybe only get a lead when they ask for more info.

Unless they have an amazing reason for them to use your site the hoops you are forcing on them just makes no sense.

    2. I assume you will be selling the leads. But are people searching for houses really leads? Hear me out on this.

How do you know they are not working with a realtor?
How do you know when or if they plan to buy?
    etc etc

Sure you can sell them and maybe a realtor will buy them. But they are not high quality so will not command the best prices. Tie this into my first point and I think you can find ways to get more people on your site and only capture the best leads which you can sell.

Simple questions like "Which Realtor are you working with?" can go a long way. Plus you can send the "leads" where they mention a realtor to that realtor. Which is a great way to open doors to selling that realtor leads that don't have a realtor attached.

    3. Where are you getting your houses?

If you are getting them from MLS like all the other sites you content will be the same so spice it up in some way which is back to the idea from point 1.

If you are getting people to post their houses with you those are the paying customers. That is how you monetize the site. You need to make it as easy as possible to get the prospects to contact the sellers.
