HELP! STRONG U.S. IP Address needed

I'm from Atlanta and provide offline services to U.S. clients. I am in Thailand for the rest of the year, where I am now. When I submit a Google Places application for a client, Google's software "reads" I am in Thailand and apparently does not like that.

The Places application is submitted, but no letter from Google (with the needed pin number) ever arrives. If I use an IP changer software, Google appears to like that even less.

I need to have a U.S. IP address (preferably in or near Atlanta) that I can use from Thailand, that Google will recognize as a "real" U.S. location. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm curious as to how this would help?

He would log in with RDP into the server and do his business that way?

A VPS server basically gives you remote access to a virtual machine with the windows operating system loaded on it. You login via IP + password and it is basically a whole separate computer on it's own, with a unique IP address- there is literally ZERO risk of you leaking your IP. You can get one for around $12 a month with a CRAPLOAD of RAM and Disk Space which wouldn't really have any lag at all.

THANKS Harold.... that is EXACTLY the solution I need!

Any recommendations on a VPS provider - good service with very reasonable rates? (edit: I just checked Google and there are MANY options)

Go to webhostingtalk and search up VPS windows in their offers section to find a killer deal on one. I just picked one up with over 2gigs of RAM for like $6.00 per month through a promo.

Back when I traveled overseas several months out of the year, I used Witopia (witopia.net) and was very pleased with their service and product.

You can choose from dozens of gateways each time you use it and yes, Atlanta is one of them.

    Very affordable, too.

Yes, by the way, I AM in the Witness Protection Program. I could tell you who I am but then I would have to kill you.

THANKS for the suggestions! I need to reiterate that Google seems to "see through" IP changer software, like hidemyass.com .. I'll check-out those suggestions and hope they are different.

I agree with having a VPS server with windows OS installed. A VPN or proxy is good, but there can still be leaks of your IP address through various things such as cookies, activex, java, flash, etc....

I had a friend who use to work with me and he moved overseas he simply submits it then has the client go in and re-submit it after he does sometimes 2 postcards come but generally only 1 but a good VPN would work, especially if it has dedicated ip

I am using Proxyrental a free software mainly used to hide your static IP address. It provides many USA Proxy IPs. So you can also try it.

    Thanks
