Want to start fanpage design service for businesses

hi WF lovely members,,,i get everyday good informations from the offline marketing section and i decide to start a fanpage design or redesign service for businesses facebook pages but has some questions:

- is offering just the design (not all social media manager that i can't do) a good idea?

-i will focus on the effect of good looking fanpage to sell the service,,,is it difficult to convince businesses to the need of eye grabbing design of their fanpage?

-is it good to offer single product prices for timeline cover,tab icon,profile image,welcom page,like-gate tab than offer a mega deal like of all these at a discounted price?

-what are the prices of these services?

please help me with this;thanks.

    A couple things.

    1. This might have been better posted in the social media section.
    2. Business will pay at least for cover images.
    3. Tabs in general are used less since you can't make a tab the default landing anymore. Certain people may still need or be convinced to use one or more tabs.
    4. Like-Gates don't really exist anymore minus a bit with hiding tabs.
    5. Speaking of tabs with the rise of mobile very few people go to tabs anymore. Hell very few go to the wall which is why marketers tend to focus on management vs. design as far more companies need it.

      however i think lot of people think that facebook is a goldmine and will still in the next future,,,,so i will start my adventure and see what will happen,the fact is that we won't know if we don't try

    Wasn't saying Facebook was the wrong place to start just making you aware of where some of the current stuff has taken it.

    Likely a good place but you need to be aware of what will be easy sells and hard sells.
