A huge obstacle that offliners face

I've had this situation come up personally on a number of occasions and am interested in your thoughts and strategies.

You see something that a potential client isn't doing that could be done better and result in a lot more revenue and sales for them. They have a team in place but it's just not on the team's radar... They have a thousand things on their plate.

Let's just say for sake of the example... It's a mobile website.

You want them to hire you.

how would you go about contacting them and getting them to hire you?

Depending on how many prospects you're trying to reach... I'd either call or send a Fed Ex package.

There are pros and cons with both... with calling you may not get through the gatekeepers.

But with FedEx, it's more likely to get noticed.

If you call, you're simply seeking a face to face.

"I'm calling to ask for 5 minutes of your time, Mr. Prospect. If I can show you one simple thing that you're not doing now... but if you do it, will lead to an increase in X sales or X dollars, would you be interested?

Bottom line, depending on a few factors... either cold calling or direct mail.

And no matter what you do, give them enough info so they can be sure you actually know what you're talking about... so they don't think you're some wing nut trying to sell them something they don't need.

But don't give away the secret sauce.

I've landed hundreds of clients by literally giving away a lot of the steps on how I can help them... but I leave out the details that only I can do for them.

You don't want to spill all your secrets and have them take it and run with it.

So, no matter if you call or use direct mail... remember it's all about numbers, profit, cash flow, bottom line... so no matter what you pitch, it has to directly relate to that.

Every sentence you say or write... it should then follow up with... "which means you make X amount more money" or "so your sales will increase by X amount"
