Help? Charging Businesses Money To Claim Their Listing In Business Directories

Forgive me if this has been previously covered. Has any one made money or seen detailed information on contacting businesses and having them pay you to claim their listing or add them to 50 or more business directories? This seems like it could work with certain businesses that aren't looking for full SEO. Any details on this would be greatly appreciated. I plan to start calling dentist offices on Monday and would like to have some extra ammunition to do this properly.

    I had some modest success two years ago helping businesses claim "orphan" Facebook pages. I didn't make money on the front end but was able to get other business form (it think) three businesses. Wish I could help more, but I suspect the FB pages and your listing idea are similar. Good luck. I'd love to hear how this idea pans out for you.
