Got a prospect you can't figure out? Sally Hogshead's team has identified 49 different personality archetypes. You may be able to use these ideas to get a better handle on your prospect, or yourself.

Sally Hogshead is a phenomenal speaker. I've read her book Fascinate.

I forgot about the 49 Archetypes.

I'll read it.

Wow, 49?? Who is going to remember that many?

Myers-Brigs is hard enough to remember. I use that for relationships that are going to last awhile. 4 variables, 2 possible results per variable.

Otherwise I use DISC. 4 types.

  Broadly speaking you don't need to worry about even 4 when dealing with businesses.

  I don't think it's the most important part of the book. Lot's of speakers feel the need to include "Personality types" in their books. Just like, you'll see a lot of;
  Unconscious incompetent
  Conscious incompetent. Blah, blah blah.
  
  Some of that is just filler.
