What you sell to Local Business

I am looking to Offer SEO Services to Local Business.
I want to know what you sell to your Local Businesses if you are doing Offline Marketing.
I can think of these
Ranking them for some keyword
Video Creation

I have also heard that there are some Reputation Managements services, can anyone tell what it is or how to get them positive reviews somewhere.

Apart from SEO Services, what other services do you sell that performs well.

Do you also do any kind of contract with them. I would like to get the material of the contract so that I can print it out and offer them to my local people.

Thanks

Choose a service that will provide the most value to business owners and the most profit to you.

SEO is a great service to offer but it can be challenging to start out with as most business owners view "selling SEO" as a scam (for many reasons).

What you can do is roll your SEO service into a bigger package deal. Your client gets more value and you bring in a larger sales. Everyone wins.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Honestly though, I see these questions all the time. Heck, I used to be the one asking them. Let me say, you are asking the wrong question.

Finding out what services business owners need is the wrong question. You can easily find tons of services and packages to offer with a quick search.

The real question you need to ask is why would they choose your services over others.

I spent a couple of years chasing the "best service" to offer business owners. I offered basically anything I could think of or hadn't tried yet. I found my place in my current niche because I found myself interested in researching it and the value for business owner's clicked in my head. It made it an incredibly easy sale because I not only knew why it would be beneficial to my client, I could show them.

    Here's some more:
What services are you good at providing?
Why do you provide it better than others?
How can you fulfill the services after making a sale?

Ok, all that being said, there are two services I offer that I can constantly close: Mobile design and video production.

Most people are shocked when I tell them I can constantly and consistently close business owners on mobile. Most think this niche was oversaturated 2 years ago. The secret? Business owners don't like change. Some of my prospects, I hit up over a year ago and NOW they want a mobile design because NOW they see the power in it.

      hey Jeremy

That's pretty solid advice, it's always easy to tell the people here who are living it vs just giving theories. Are you doing video product for the purpose of marketing their sites, or to put directly on their site to increase conversions...or both? I'm assuming you can then get them onto some kind of plan where you do videos for them on a regular basis?

      Cheers/beers

First before you think of "ranking a business for some keyword" or "video creation"
you need to think through how you're going to provide value to the businesses
    you work with.

A business doesn't need to be ranked for a keyword. What they need is
paying customers...and preferably high quality, high paying customers.

So it's not just about ranking high in search engines.

When it comes to SEO you want to be thinking about:

    # Ranking high for multiple search terms that can bring your
client high quality, high paying customers.

    # Having pages that help to move those prospects forward
in the sales process...helping to convert them into paying
    customers.

    # Perhaps using the internet to follow up with paying
customers to get them to buy again, to give testimonials
    and to give referrals.

If you're going to offer an online video service you can
go through the same process thinking about where you're
going to send prospects who watch the video and how
you're going to follow up with them to get them to
    convert into paying customers.

On the topic of what service you should offer ask yourself

    # What can I do now?
    # How can I use those skills to help a business bring in
    paying customers?

"Reputation management" usually involves helping a business
get good reviews, sometimes getting bad reviews taken down,
ranking well on sites like Google places and having a good
presence there and just generally making sure if you search
for the business the majority of what you find about it
    online is positive.

Some people are doing very well providing this service to
    businesses.

    Kindest regards,
    Andrew Cavanagh
