Best Craigslist Ad Strategies

Warriors,

I've used craigslist in the past to generate sales in the offline sales arena but I wanted to venture into building lead generation sites for offline clients by utilizing craigslist. The question I have is how do I approach this while delivering a clear message on the service I provide. Do you recommend a text or graphical ad? Professional sales copy? How do I lay the message out so potential clients understand what I am offering? Any feedback or information would be very helpful.

RedShifted is one of the forum members here who does just this and he's been very insightful in his posts about it. Look him up.

In the past, graphic (image) ads worked really well for me. There's something about an image that instantly captures one's attention. I'd go with image ads.

I've used infographics in the past with great success. But I'm trying to find the best strategy to setup this service on CL.

I would like to hear from serious people who are interested in starting up a new Craiglist, or Ebay-type website. Both of them have gone down the crapper in the past few years and it's time for something new, safe and creative.

NO BS - if you are a serious investor and have $2,000-$10,000 to invest in this venture contact me at clseller6@comcast.net. Web-building or IT experience is a plus.

    I am one of Ebay's longest-standing members.

Craigslist is always changing things up, so just use whatever works at the time. What gets you clicks? Maybe run a few different ads, plain text, text with images and only images and see how the conversion rates are.
