Suggestions on Webinar provider please?

Hi folks,

I want to do a webinar where the materials featured in the webinar will be available for PDF download at he conclusion so that folks have a point of reference. Any service providers allow me to include docs for download within a webinar?

Thanks!

Just upload a PDF or ZIP somewhere and give the audience the link on the webinar - typically through the chat box.

And link it in the follow up emails, too.

Yeah, that was the plan... but figured there must be a better way. I don't want to join a webinar, then have to leave to go to some other site to download the materials, why can't I get them on the spot? I figured this feature existed somewhere for sure, so, I had to check.

You don't have to leave the webinar to download a hard linked PDF or ZIP file, dude.

It's just a direct URL to the file > user clicks link > user downloads file

Perhaps you want to look into the "delayed buy button" feature that some webinar systems and squeeze page builders have.

This way you can have the download link show up under the video at a specific time. Your viewers can click the link to download the materials.

THIS IS EXACTLY what I am looking for. Which providers would you recommend?

You can do it all for free using Google hangouts. Just make a simple webinar page using HTML. Google gives you the iframe code to paste into your page. There are simple reveal scripts as well or you can just use a free live chat widget on your page as well and paste the link to the download at the exact time you want. All free.

Does Google allow me to share my screen and record? It's a tutorial style webinar where I have to show certain sites, slides, etc. thanks!!

Share yes but I don't know about record but you can always use a screen recording program like camtasia.

I think that Google Hangouts can do the job too.

I don't think hangouts is what you want for this. The quality is going to be pretty bad for slides and visuals and if you try to run screen capture during the hangout I think it will bog the computer down so much it will look like sh**.

instantteleseminar is what you should try. I haven't used it in almost a year but I did 5 webinars with it and two of them with slides, and it's perfect. The quality comes across great it's easy to use (once you go through the tutorials) and it automatically puts it up for download within a few minutes of the webinar ending.

Plus no one has to download any software like gotowebinar, they simply login using the link you send them.

Hmm maybe it depends on our connection and computer. I've had great results with hangouts and screen capturing. Either way I hope the OP finds what's right for him.

My internet sucks so it very well could be fine if you've got a fast upload connection. Do slides show up in hangouts well?

          Hey Bob,

Sure slides show up, hangouts lets you share your screen so its just like using gotowebinar.
