Over a $1000 client, what service?

At the risk of getting some highly subjective answers, yes it is Friday night here in the UK and no rock an roll for me, what marketing service do you regular offer/sell to your prospects/clients, on a regular basis that is over $1000?

Direct Mail. You can take all the money they want to give you and still return an ROI.

Bob, I'm thinking about doing some direct mail for a dentist. Just a single dentist. what do you recommend?

1.) Monthly campaigns to a radius around their office (using EDDM). Just saturate their whole surroundings so everyone sees it. Always offer a coupon for free cleanings but don't neglect other services that they might offer like invisalign.

2.) Targeted postcard campaigns to all the new movers in their area on a monthly basis so that anyone just moving to the area (which usually requires finding a new dentist) sees them right away.

Make the postcard a "welcome to the neighborhood" type piece along with a free cleaning.

3.) Take advantage of their existing list of patients who have not came in within a 1-2 years and mail to them.

Dude... you're just rehashing crap from a WSO that initially came out 2 years ago, why are you still going on about this? $1,000 for a cheap $5 video that does nothing to offer value or ROI to the business?

I think that the outlook from marketers should be different... Forget how much YOU can make, and find out how much you can make the company. A cheap youtube video isn't going to drive profits when people are already searching for the business by name.. are you kidding me?

Websites... PPC.. Social Media... Print ads... Direct Mail... etc. are all good ways to go.

All of them. Any service you want to provide can be sold for above $1k.

It only matters how you package it and your delivery.

What about list building/e-mail markting? Wouldn't that be just as beneficial as direct mail?

Absolutely. We currently have a contract with someone in the UK.

They paid a great deal for a few different services - but the end goal is to have 15,000 email subscribers on their list.

      It's working nicely.

Generally speaking, I really respect Bob Ross's insights regarding a lot of the offline stuff...

Myself, I offer lead generation services that basically amounts to: I get your phones to ring or your money back.

The phones are tracked and that's it.

No SEO reports, backlinks built, thumbs in your face, tweets to count or pluses to add up.

If I don't get you at least some sort of baseline percent increase in calls from where you're at now...your money back....hows that?

Another service that is WELL worth the $1000 or more is to do a referral reach out campaign from potential other referral partners.

    The idea is simple:

    1. Direct Response sales letter - snail mail that offers a referral arrangement, reciprocity endoresements from you and they.

    2. List of potential referal partners can be had for free from Reference USA

    3. Prestige campaign...get customers featured on sites like CNN, aol news etc...very easy to do, but no one seems to know how to do it.

    Hope that helps you.

    Regards
